British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has ordered British forces to seize Russia’s banned “shadow fleet” tankers. Under this, the Army has been given powers to board ships passing through UK waters.
According to the UK government order, under this new directive, UK armed forces and law enforcement agencies can stop ships that have been sanctioned by the UK when they are passing through its waters.
The move follows recent operations in which the Royal Navy helped its allies by tracking Shadow Fleet ships on European and Mediterranean routes.
Starmer said that Putin is feeling happy seeing the ongoing war in the Middle East, because he feels that increasing oil prices will give him an opportunity to fill his pockets.
He added: “That’s why we’re cracking down even harder on their ‘Shadow Fleet’. Not just to keep Britain safe, but to deprive Putin’s war machine of the ‘dirty profits’ that fund his barbaric campaign in Ukraine. They and their allies should have no doubt that we will always defend our sovereignty and stand with Ukraine as long as needed.” Will stay.”
Putin enraged by attack on Iran’s nuclear plant
On the other hand, Russia on Wednesday said it is “deeply outraged” by the alleged attack on Iran’s Bushehr nuclear power plant complex. Let us tell you that this plant was partially constructed by Russia and it also helps in its operation.
“We are extremely outraged by this reckless and irresponsible display of a destructive path,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on its website.
