President Trump has again claimed that Iran wants a deal to end the war, while also threatening to escalate tensions if Tehran “doesn’t get serious soon.”

Trump rejected Iran’s views
In one of several posts on ‘Truth Social’ today, Trump rejected this. He wrote, “The Iranian negotiators are very different and ‘weird’. They are ‘begging’ us to make a deal, which they should, because they are completely destroyed militarily and have no chance of recovery.” He added, “And yet they say publicly that they are only ‘considering our proposal.’ This is absolutely wrong!!! They should become serious as soon as possible, before it is too late; Because once that happens, there will be no way of going back, and the consequences will be very bad!”

Earlier, he had said that President Donald Trump, without naming Abraham Lincoln, said, “We were attacked.
