A deadly missile from Iran has made a major attack on its most secret ‘Dimona’ nuclear hub, failing the Iron Dome.
According to reports, rescue teams are responding to reports that a building collapsed after the missile hit. Meanwhile, new sirens are being sounded in the southern city and surrounding towns. It is being told that Iran has fired another missile towards the area.
At the time of writing, about 20 people have been injured in the Iranian ballistic missile attack in Dimona, most of them with minor injuries. According to rescue services, the missile fell directly on a building in the city.
The IDF says it has dispatched search and rescue teams from the Home Front Command to the site of an Iranian ballistic missile fall in Dimona. According to the medical team, the injured include a 10-year-old child and a 40-year-old woman, whose condition is said to be moderate.
Iran’s nuclear base was attacked
This retaliatory action has been taken after the attack on Natanz Uranium Enrichment Center this morning. The IDF had denied attacking the Natanz uranium enrichment facility. The IDF said it had not launched any attacks in the area, and could not comment on US activities amid the war.
Earlier, Iran had fired two missiles at Diego Garcia located in the Indian Ocean. The base is about 2,370 miles (3,810 kilometers) off the coast of Iran, but none of the missiles fell on that base.
Diego Garcia, a key air base for the US heavy bomber fleet, has long served as an important US overseas military base for military operations away from home.
