President Donald Trump said on Friday that the battle to stop nuclear-armed Iran has been won militarily. He also took aim at NATO allies for not helping the US and called them “cowards” for not helping open the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump wrote on Truth Social, “Now that that battle has been won militarily, and there is very little threat to them, they complain about the high oil prices they have to pay, but don’t want to help open the Strait of Hormuz; it’s an easy military move that is the sole cause of high oil prices.”
‘Cowards, we will remember this’
Trump added, “How easy it is for them to do this, and how low the risk is. We’ll remember that, cowards!” The President also lamented that NATO allies did not join the US in the fight against Iran, again arguing that the alliance would be ineffective without the US.
He said, “Without the USA, NATO is a paper tiger! They did not want to get involved in the fight to stop a nuclear-armed Iran.” Trump began the week by appealing to allies to help reopen the strait, but later said the US did not need them.
Iran gave big threat to Trump-Netanyahu
Iran’s military warned on Friday that tourist destinations, entertainment areas and retreats around the world are no longer safe for its enemies. His reference was towards the officials of America and Israel.
In a post published by government-linked news outlets, Iranian military spokesman Brigadier General Abulfazal Shekarchi said that unlike Iranian officers, who live among the people, Israeli and US officers “hide underground and in bunkers or use civilians as human shields.”
Shekarchi said, “The time is not far when we will drag you out of your hiding places and bunkers with dishonor and dishonor and force you to face the consequences of your deeds.” He said, “From now on, based on the information we have about you, tourist destinations, entertainment areas and leisure destinations around the world will also no longer be safe for you.”
