US-Israel-Iran War: The conflict between America-Israel vs Iran is not showing any signs of stopping. ‘Strait of Hormuz’, the most important corridor of global oil trade, now seems to be becoming a ‘battlefield’. The increasing tension on the world’s most important oil route has increased the concern of the global energy market. Due to this, oil prices have started touching the sky. Meanwhile, Iran sometimes talks about opening the closed passage of Hormuz for ships and sometimes attacks here. Recently, Iran has again allegedly done something similar due to which clouds of trouble are again looming over the oil supply chain.
According to the New York Post report, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Saturday (March 7) claimed that they have targeted a ship in the ‘Strait of Hormuz’.
How was the target made?
According to the report, this time their target was the Marshall Islands flagged oil tanker Louise P. Iran says it attacked a US-owned oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz. A suicide drone was used to target it. It is being told that this attack has happened at the same time when America and Israel have intensified attacks on Tehran’s oil bases.
Iran has already given warning
Earlier, IRGC has given a clear warning that if any ship of America, Israel, Europe or their supporting countries tries to pass through this important waterway, it will be attacked and destroyed.
Iran is claiming control over the sea route
Iranian officials had said that in accordance with international law and related resolutions, Iran has the full right to control traffic through the Strait of Hormuz during wartime.
Iran retaliates on Trump’s threat
US President Donald Trump had said that America wants Iran to accept defeat completely. He also said that either Iran itself should surrender, or its military strength should be weakened to such an extent that it would not be capable of fighting. On the other hand, Iran seems to be in no mood to bow down. Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian said it was a dream he would take to his grave.
‘…then he will be drowned in the sea’
The Iranian army had openly threatened America. An Iranian military spokesman said that if any American ship came to the Persian Gulf, it would be sunk at sea. This statement from the Iranian military spokesperson came when Donald Trump said that he would soon send US Navy ships to protect oil tankers. These tankers usually pass through the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian military spokesperson warned against his statement.
