The Israel-America-Iran war has now reached its peak. During this period, discussion of ground operations in Iran was raised several times. However, every time this question was avoided as a matter of confusion. When journalists asked Trump about the ground operation, he said that it would be a waste of time. Now a new information is coming out. According to a report in the British media, apart from Israel and America, there is also a third group, which is ready to enter Iran. Iran also got wind of this, after which it threatened it and said that if this happens, it will not be spared.
Who is this third group?
Iranian Kurdish opposition groups facing exile in northern Iraq have told British media they plan to cross the border, and have for decades. “We have been preparing for this for the last 47 years, since the time of the Islamic Republic,” said Hana Yazdanpana of the Kurdistan Freedom Party (PAK), which claims to be the largest armed force.
Can this army trust Trump?
Experts believe that joining the fight against Iran would be a huge risk. Even if Trump offers something in return, it will have to be seen that this mission does not become like ‘suicide’ for the Kurds. Let us tell you that Kurds are scattered in Iran, Iraq, Syria and Türkiye. They have a long history of persecuting and betraying.
The question is, can America be trusted to fulfill any of the promises it has made? Many Kurds in Syria, who are staunch allies of the US in the fight against IS, were recently angered when Trump sided with the transitional government in Damascus against them.
However, some Iranian Kurds say now is the time to act, whether the Americans cooperate or not. At the same time, some Kurds say that if the air above us is not cleared then we cannot move. This means the US would have to declare the area a no-fly zone and destroy Iran’s weapons depots first. If this does not happen then it would be suicidal to enter Iran.
Let us tell you that the White House has denied the report which said that US President Donald Trump is considering giving arms to the Kurds.
Iran threatened
Iran has warned the Kurdistan region of Iraq that if any Iranian Kurdish group enters Iran from their region, then all places in the Kurdistan region will be targeted. According to the report, Iran’s Defense Council said that “so far, only US, Israeli and separatist group bases in the area have been targeted.” It also warned that “in difficult days like the ISIS attack, any aid Iran provides to Iraqi Kurdistan will be stopped.”
