According to reports from Iranian news sites, loud explosions were heard from the nuclear facility and air base area in the central city of Isfahan.

Earlier, Iran has confirmed that during the ongoing war between US-Israel and Iran, its Natanz nuclear facility was attacked, which further increased the fear of radiation leak. Iranian Ambassador Reza Najafi accused Washington and Tel Aviv of targeting peaceful, safe nuclear facilities, and said Natanz was one of the sites attacked.

Serious consequences from radiological release

IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi, speaking at a meeting of the Board of Governors of the 35 countries of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), expressed deep concern over the escalating conflict and warned that the serious consequences that radiological releases could have could not be ruled out. Grossi said the agency has complete knowledge of nuclear material in the area and is ready to provide assistance if needed. He stressed that any leak could force the evacuation of people in areas the size of or even larger than big cities.

Attack on Israeli Army’s Communication Industries Complex?

According to an Iranian news agency, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says that the 11th wave of Iranian missiles and drones targeted the Israeli city of Beersheba (Bir as-Sab).

The report claimed that the Israeli military’s Communication Industries Complex in the city was attacked. Later, the agency posted a photo, which it claimed showed a building in Bir as-Saab that houses major international companies, including Microsoft, was targeted.
