Valentine’s Day Every loving couple waits for this. Although there are countless love stories, which show the pain of separation, childhood love and selfless dedication, but this is a very heart-touching and romantic love story, which proves that true love does not end even after death.
John Maver, who lives in California, America, sends flowers to his wife Diana every Valentine’s Day even after her death. Diana Mavor receives flowers from her husband John, who died in October 2017.
John and Diana met when they were 16 years old in high school. Both of them lived a married life for 47 years. John died of cancer in October 2017, but he had prepared a magical plan before his death. She made pre-arrangements with the flower shop to have a beautiful bouquet and a card delivered to Diana’s home every Valentine’s Day. It is written on the card-
“I have but one heart and that is you. You will always be my Valentine. I love you, Diana.”
This sequence started four months after John’s death, i.e. Valentine’s Day 2018 and continued till 2025. The flowers arrive every year on 14th February. His daughter Marilee Hurd tells-
“Dad has magically set it up so that flowers arrive at Mom’s door every year. Probably for Mom’s entire life. When the flowers arrive, the smile on Mom’s face is palpable. She knows that Dad is still with her.”
John and Diana always said that “We are one and love will always last”. John had told the family that even after his death the experiences would be lived through you. His daughter says- “Love is there in life as well as after death.”
