Brazil Bus Accident: A tragic road accident has occurred in Brazil. This horrific road accident occurred in a rural area of Alagoas state in the north-east. According to foreign media reports, a bus filled with 60 people lost control at a turn, went off the road and overturned. 15 people including children and women have died in this accident.
It is being told that when the bus driver was taking the bus out of a turn, he suddenly lost his balance, due to which the bus overturned. Some passengers jumped out of the bus, while many people got buried under the bus. Local people who reached the spot said that there was an outcry on the spot and the police was informed.
The bus was straightened with the help of a crane
The local administration straightened the bus with the help of a crane and evacuated the injured and immediately took them to a nearby hospital. While doctors declared 15 people dead, the remaining injured people are currently undergoing treatment, many of them are said to be seriously injured. The police have taken the bodies into their custody and sent them for postmortem. Investigation has been started into the accident, according to initial information, driver’s negligence or road conditions are being considered as the reason. The regional government of Alagoas has confirmed that 15 people have died so far, including 5 men, 7 women and 3 children.
According to local media reports, the bus was returning from a religious celebration of ‘Our Lady of Candelaria’. This festival falls on 2 February every year and is attended by thousands of devotees in the Brazilian state of Ceará.

Colonel Andre Madeiro, director of the Alagoas Aviation Department, said his team immediately began relief and rescue operations. He said, ‘The bus went off the road at the turn and overturned and many people went out. Some people were trapped under the bus. This was a very terrible and unusual accident. The injured passengers were immediately admitted to nearby hospitals. One of these children is seriously injured and his condition remains critical.
