क्या गाजा पीस बोर्ड में शामिल होगा भारत? ट्रंप ने भेजा पीएम मोदी को न्‍योता, जानिए क्या चाहता है अमेरिका

Gaza Board of Peace: US President Donald Trump has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to join the Gaza Peace Board. But, India has not yet officially responded to Trump’s invitation. Apart from India, many other countries have also received offers to become a part of this board. Washington sees it as a new international body that will bring peace and stability.

If reports are to be believed, this invitation is currently being discussed by India. India is in no mood to rush into this matter. In such a situation, this stand of the government is considered very important diplomatically. It is reported that before Trump becomes a part of this new board, the Foreign Ministry wants to closely examine all the conditions and responsibilities that may come with this membership.

60 countries invited to join the board

President Trump himself is the president of this organization. It is reported that Trump has so far sent invitations to 60 countries to join this board. Apart from India, this includes Argentina, Egypt, Canada, Türkiye, Albania and Cyprus. He is calling this initiative a platform to bring peace in the world. However, many diplomats associated with Europe and the United Nations are seeing this as an attempt to weaken the role of the UN.

Wrote this in the letter sent to PM Modi

Trump’s letter inviting PM Modi has been shared on social media by US Ambassador to India Sergio Gore. It is written in it that it is an honor for him (Trump) to invite PM Modi to make efforts to restore peace in the Middle East and work to resolve global conflicts.

Trump has also invited Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to join the Board of Peace formed for Gaza. The spokesperson of Pakistani Foreign Ministry has officially confirmed this.

Why was the Gaza Peace Board established?

In fact, recently Donald Trump announced the formation of the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG) for the administration and reconstruction of Gaza. The Board of Peace has been formed to monitor this committee, raise funds and take decisions.

Trump had announced development while brokering a ceasefire between America and Israel in Gaza. Trump said that if the war stops, a peace board will be established. It will look after the development work in Gaza till the elections.
