Iran Crisis: Protests have intensified in Iran. The protesters are now taking up arms and confronting the security forces. The government building in Ashkhaneh was burned. Clashes took place in Golshahr of Karaj. On January 7, police commander Mahmoud Haqiqat in Iranshahr was killed in a drive-by shooting, for which Jaish al-Adl claimed responsibility.
