Bangladesh: 6 महीने, 71 मामले… ईशनिंदा की आड़ में बांग्लादेश में हिंदुओं पर हो रहा अत्याचार, रिपोर्ट में खुलासा

Bangladesh Hindu Attack news: First Dipu Chandra Das, then Amrit Mandal… These two recent incidents have once again raised concerns about the increasing violence on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh. Hindus are once again the target in the neighboring country. Under the guise of allegations of blasphemy, Hindus are being continuously attacked there. According to a report, at least 71 cases have been registered against Hindu minorities in Bangladesh within 6 months on blasphemy charges.

Turmoil continues in Bangladesh ahead of general elections to be held in February 2026. Recently, Usman Hadi of Iqbal Manch died, after which violence broke out once again. During this period, incidents of violence against Hindus are continuously coming to light.

71 cases of blasphemy registered against Hindus

A report by the Human Rights Congress for Bangladesh Minorities (HRCBM) found at least 71 cases of blasphemy against Hindus between June and December 2025. Reports show that these incidents have taken place in more than 30 districts. These include Rangpur, Chandpur, Chittagong, Dinajpur, Lalmonirhat, Sunamganj, Khulna, Comilla, Ghazipur, Tangail and Sylhet.

The murder of Dipu Chandra Das is the most horrifying

In this report, the mob lynching of Dipu Chandra Das in Bhaluka, Mymensingh on 18 December has been described as the most horrific incident. The mob beat Deepu to death and then vandalized his body. His body was hanged from a tree and set on fire.

Apart from this, the reports range from the arrest of Tamal Baidya in Agaljhara on June 19 to the protest against Shanto Sutradhar in Matlab, Chandpur on June 22; March, vandalism of Hindu houses after the arrest of 17-year-old Ranjan Roy in Betgari Union, Rangpur on July 27, 2025; alleged security forces attack on 15 years Utsav Mandal in Khulna’s Sonadanga on September 4, 2024. Many incidents have been mentioned, including the brutal beating that took place in his presence.

A fact also revealed in the report is that 90 percent of those accused of blasphemy are Hindus, including minors aged 15 to 17 years. Many cases start with a Facebook post. Many of these cases turn out to be false or many posts were posted by hacking Facebook accounts. Not only this, in some cases action was taken without any investigation and only on the basis of verbal allegations. There were some cases in which people were arrested under mob pressure even before investigation. A similar pattern is seen in these incidents.
