Bangladesh Violence: India’s neighboring country Bangladesh is once again burning in the fire of violence. The situation in the country has gone out of control due to the assassination of fundamentalist leader Osman Hadi. There are continuous reports of arson, vandalism and attacks from across the country. Meanwhile, the former Bangladesh minister said that the Yunus government is deliberately instigating violence to delay the elections and is trying to provoke India.
It is noteworthy that Usman Hadi was the spokesperson of the Islamic organization Inquilab Manch. He died in a hospital in Singapore on Thursday, 18 December. He was shot in Dhaka a week ago, after which Usman’s condition remained critical. Violence broke out in Bangladesh after Hadi’s death.

Mohammad Yunus is deliberately inciting violence in Bangladesh-Mohibul Hasan Choudhary

Attacking the Mohammad Yunus-led interim government over the violence in Bangladesh, former Bangladesh minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury alleged, “The Yunus government is deliberately instigating violence to delay the elections and is trying to provoke India.” He further said that the Yunus government is doing the work of providing support and sympathy to the fundamentalists. Instead of investigating the incident or deploying security personnel, Yunus cabinet members themselves called for bloodshed.”

According to local reports, Usman Hadi was shot in the head while campaigning in Dhaka’s Bijoynagar area on December 12 and was flown to Singapore by air ambulance after his condition became critical. Even after treatment in Singapore, he could not be saved. Singapore’s Foreign Ministry on Thursday issued confirmation of the death of Osman Hadi.

Usman Hadi was the spokesperson of the anti-Sheikh Hasina Inquilab Manch. He also emerged as a prominent leader after the rebellion in July 2024 last year. Kalab Manch is a right-wing political platform. Hadi was in the headlines for the last few days. According to reports, Hadi had circulated a map of so-called Greater Bangladesh, which also included parts of India.
