Bangladesh: फैक्ट्री को बचाने के लिए दीपू दास को भीड़ के हवाले कर दिया? साथी वर्कर ही बन गए हैवान… लिंचिंग का खौफनाक सच आया सामने

After the brutal murder of a Hindu youth, Dipu Das, in India’s neighboring country Bangladesh, the interim government Mohammad Yunus is being condemned all around. Questions are being raised on law and order regarding the brutality with which the mob killed him. Now a shocking revelation has come to light regarding the murder of Dipu Das. Bangladesh media has made a big revelation regarding this massacre.

Dipu Chandra Das, a Hindu youth, was brutally murdered by a fundamentalist mob in Bhaluka area of Mymensingh district of Bangladesh. On the night of 18th December, Deepu was publicly beaten to death by a mob on false charges of blasphemy. After his death, his body was tied to a tree, taken to the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway and set on fire. This incident has raised serious questions on the safety of minorities in Bangladesh.

Shocking revelation on the murder of Dipu Das

Bangladesh’s newspaper The Daily Star, quoting Mymensingh Industrial District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Farhad Hussain Khan, has made a big revelation about this massacre. Dipu Chandra Das was a laborer in the Pioneer Knitwear Factory. At around 5 pm, some colleagues accused him of hurting religious sentiments, although there was no concrete evidence. Gradually the matter became serious. To calm the situation, the factory management forced Deepu to write a resignation letter and kept him in the security room. Senior manager of the factory, Alamgir Hussain, said that he even got a fake resignation from Dipu so that people would calm down, but the workers of the factory were not going to calm down.

This is how word reached outside the factory

After this the shift of the worker changed and the matter reached outside the factory also. Within no time a huge crowd gathered outside the factory. At quarter to nine in the night, the mob broke the factory gate, pulled Deepu out and beat him to death. After this, the body was tied to a tree and taken to the highway and burnt, due to which traffic came to a standstill for several hours and panic spread in the area. Police were informed, but late.

Fellow workers became monsters

The team left as soon as the information was received, but due to the crowd it became difficult to reach the spot. By the time the police arrived, Deepu had become a victim of mob leaching. The SP said that if he had been called on time, Deepu’s life could have been saved, but it did not happen. Mohammed Shamsuzzaman, company commander of RAB-14 in Mymensingh, told The Daily Star that when conditions turned bad, he was forcefully thrown out of the factory to save the factory. However, senior manager of the factory, Saqib Mahmood has termed these allegations as false.

The allegations against Deepu are baseless

At the same time, in the investigation so far, no such evidence has been found to show that the deceased had written anything on social media which might have hurt the religious sentiments. Preliminary investigation revealed that the allegation of blasphemy was completely baseless. Deepu had neither made any objectionable comment on social media nor anywhere else. Investigating agencies say that the lapse of the factory management was serious, which handed Deepu over to the mob.
