Iran Protest News: There is silence all around on the streets in Iran after the violent protests that lasted for the last 19 days, in which more than 5 thousand people have died. However, even after so much devastation, tension continues. According to an Iranian official, out of the 5000 dead, about 500 are security personnel.

Why were there protests in Iran?

After such a huge violent demonstration, US President Donald Trump has warned that if protesters are killed or hanged in Iran, America will intervene. In a social media post on Friday, Trump thanked Iran for stopping the planned mass execution.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that the country will not be dragged into war, but domestic or international criminals will definitely be punished. On a religious occasion, Khamenei said that Iran has again defeated America and Israel. He alleged that America had conspired to create unrest in Iran so that it could take control of the country, but Iran has completely ended this conspiracy.
