रूसी ड्रोन ने यूक्रेन में खदान श्रमिकों की बस को बनाया निशाना, शिफ्ट के बाद लौट रहे थे घर, 15 की मौत और 7 घायल

Russia-Ukraine war: Russia has carried out a drone attack on a passenger bus in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine. This bus was taking mine workers home after their shift was over. According to Ukrainian officials and emergency services, at least 15 people were killed and several others injured in the attack.

The drone strike came hours after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the next round of peace talks between Russian and Ukrainian delegations. The attack took place in the Ternivka area of the Pavlograd district, which is near the region’s major coal mines. The bus belonged to DTEK company, which is Ukraine’s largest private energy company and operates coal mining here.

The company termed the incident as a terrorist attack and said that all those killed and injured were its employees who were returning home by bus after their shift. The death toll was initially reported at 12, but the State Emergency Service later increased it to 15. The number of injured in this attack is said to be 7, who were admitted to the hospital. Rescue teams reached the spot and extinguished the fire as well as carried out relief work, but most of the people on board the bus had died.

The attack is believed to be part of a series of larger attacks by Russian forces in the Dnipro region, targeting energy infrastructure and mines. The governor of the region, Oleksandr Ganzha, confirmed this on Telegram and said that the enemy drone attacked near the company’s shuttle bus.

This incident has a direct impact on civilians, especially workers who are working to maintain the country’s economy and energy production despite the war. The mining region is an important center of Ukraine’s coal production and such attacks pose a serious threat to energy security.

The talks are being held at the trilateral level under the mediation of the US, which includes representatives of Ukraine, Russia and the United States.
