Asim Munir Daughter Wedding: Pakistan Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir has married his third daughter Mahnoor Munir to his nephew Abdur Rehman. According to media reports, the marriage took place on December 26, 2025, at the residence of General Munir near Pakistan Army Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
Mulla Munir is in danger of his life. Therefore, due to security reasons, this event was kept very secret and with little publicity. No official picture of Mahnoor Munir’s marriage has been released yet.
Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir has four daughters and the ceremony held on December 26 was the wedding of his third daughter. Due to security reasons, the wedding was held privately and away from the public eye, attended by senior political and military figures.
Asim Munir has got his daughter married to his nephew Abdur Rehman. The groom Abdur Rehman is the son of General Munir’s real brother Qasim Munir. Rehman has previously been a Captain in the Pakistan Army, later joined Civil Services and is currently working on the post of Assistant Commissioner under the quota reserved for Army officers.
According to reports, around 400 guests attended the wedding, including Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, ISI chief, several serving and retired senior military officers, including former army chiefs. Due to security concerns the wedding was not celebrated publicly and was kept completely private.
