बांग्लादेश में मोहम्मद यूनुस के बुरे दिन शुरू? राष्ट्रपति मोहम्मद शहाबुद्दीन ने खोला कच्चा चिठ्ठा

Bangladesh: As soon as the new government was formed in Bangladesh, President Mohammad Shahabuddin has made a surprising revelation. He accused former chief advisor Muhammad Yunus of bypassing the presidency during the tenure of the interim government. Shahabuddin said that Yunus flouted the Constitution and did his own thing by breaking rules and regulations.

President Mohammad Shahabuddin made these allegations after the formation of the BNP government under the leadership of Tariq Rahman. He said that while holding the post, Yunus neither maintained institutional coordination nor informed him about important and significant government decisions. He alleged that during this period he went on 14 to 15 foreign tours but he was not informed about even a single trip.

Foreign trip canceled without informing- Shahabuddin

Shahabuddin said that after the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government, there were continuous attempts to remove her. Even his foreign tours to Kosovo and Qatar were cancelled. A letter was prepared in which it was written that I am busy with work, due to which travel is not possible. He sarcastically said that the President is so busy in our Constitution that he is not even asked anything. He alleges that an attempt was made to tarnish his image.

An attempt was made to keep me in the dark – President

The President of Bangladesh further said that he had a big role in making Mohammad Yunus the Chief Advisor. Even after this he used to ignore me. He said that he was not given any information regarding the trade deal between Bangladesh and America. Yunus ignored his constitutional responsibility as President. Also claimed that Yunus never went to meet him and tried to keep him in the dark.

‘Photos were removed from Bangladeshi embassies’

Referring to an incident, he said that even his photographs were removed from Bangladeshi embassies abroad. Shahabuddin claimed that his press department and photographer were removed, leaving him unable to issue press releases independently. Not only this, he said that even issuing messages to congratulate the cricket team on its victory was not allowed. He revealed that he was confined to Rashtrapati Bhavan.

According to Shahabuddin, Yunus worked to insult the dignity of the President and also tried to weaken the identity of this post. After his statement, there may be an increase in turmoil in Dhaka’s politics.
