Attacks on the minority Hindu community continue in Bangladesh. Hindu youth Mithun Sarkar died in Naogaon district. The mob chased him on the suspicion of theft, due to which, while trying to escape, he jumped into the canal and died by drowning. This is the seventh fatal attack on the Hindu community in the last 18 days.
