Meanwhile, America’s Virtual Embassy in Iran has issued this advisory for American citizens. It said, “Eighty security measures, including road closures, disruptions to public transportation, and internet disruptions continue. The Government of Iran continues to restrict access to mobile, landline, and national internet networks. Airlines continue to limit or cancel flights to and from Iran.”
It further said that US citizens should prepare for continued Internet disruptions, plan for alternative means of communication, and consider traveling from Iran to Armenia or Turkey by road if it is safe to do so.
‘Do not depend on the help of the US government’
“Evacuate Iran immediately. Make an evacuation plan that is not dependent on assistance from the U.S. government. Flights may be canceled or disrupted without notice. Contact your airline directly for updates. If you cannot evacuate, find a safe place in your home or another secure building. Have food, water, medicine, and other essential items with you,” the advisory said.

It also said that it would be difficult for people with American-Iranian dual citizenship. It was said that such people would have to exit the country on Iranian passports, because Iran does not recognize dual citizenship. America and Iran meeting in Oman today
