Pakistan: The economic condition of Pakistan is bad. Now the latest information has come to light that in ‘Kangalistan’ there has been a huge jump in the prices of food items ranging from chicken to rice.
According to the report of Pakistani media Dawn, the weekly inflation rate is continuously increasing in the neighboring country. An increase has been seen for the 23rd consecutive week. Here the Sensitive Price Index i.e. SPI based short term inflation rate ended on January 8. In this, changes in the prices of essential commodities are measured on a weekly basis.
Highest increase in the prices of these things
It found that retail prices of other essential commodities including sugar, flour, rice and chicken have increased by 3.20 percent on an annual basis due to increase in prices. If we believe the official data released on Friday, SPI based inflation is increasing week by week. The prices of flour, chicken, basmati rice, garlic, chilli powder, sugar, tea, firewood and bread have registered the highest increase compared to last week.
Apart from this, the commodities whose prices have recorded the highest rise in prices in Pakistan on an annual basis include wheat flour, gas prices for the first quarter, bananas and firewood, milk powder, eggs and chillies and many other commodities. This information is given in Dawn’s report.

Masood Azhar’s jackal’s barking
It is worth noting that on one hand there is shortage of food in Pakistan, while on the other hand Maulana Masood Azhar, the leader of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed present there, is making noise. Azhar claims that he has thousands of suicide bombers, who are ready to attack. However, the date and time of release of this audio has not been confirmed. This audio has come to the fore at a time when in recent times India had taken strict action against Jaish-e-Mohammed linked targets in Pakistan.
In this audio, Azhar is seen trying to instigate his supporters by talking about martyrdom. In the audio, Masood Azhar says – ‘This is not one, not two, not a hundred, not even a thousand. If I tell the full number, then tomorrow there will be an uproar in the media of the world.’
Let us tell you that Masood Azhar, who is included in the list of terrorists issued by the United Nations, has been said to be behind many major terrorist attacks in India. These include the 2016 Pathankot airbase attack and the 2019 Pulwama attack, in which 44 CRPF soldiers were martyred.
